ADAC, the largest German and European automobile club with slightly more than 18 million members, announces the best camps in Europe every year. Its standardized classification helps camping enthusiasts find their ideal destination while reflecting the level of amenities on offer. Camps are evaluated in categories such as sanitary facility, plot/field, facilities for recreation, swimming and catering, and equipment and quality are also taken into account.
Campsites with 5 stars are rated ADAC Superplatz, while campsites with 4 to 4,5 stars become ADAC TIPP. With an overall rating of 89%, Falkensteiner Premium Campsite Camping Zadar received a rating of 5 stars this year and is still an ADAC Superplatz. The expert jury rated the sanitary facilities, equipment and camping pitches particularly highly.
"The concept of Falkensteiner Camping skilfully combines the freedom and closeness to nature that comes with camping and the service and quality of a top-class hotel. We see great potential in camping and are currently working on launching our own brand. The first-class rating of our Premium Camping Zadar by ADAC and the Superplatz award greatly appreciate us happy, and at the same time it is a confirmation that we are going in the right direction", He said Otmar Michaeler, CEO of the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG).
Falkensteiner Premium Camping Zadar covers an area of 8,6 hectares with beautiful old trees and is located right on the beach. It has 86 mobile homes, 13 glamping units and 270 pitches with water, electricity and drainage connections. Guests have access to the 2.500 square meter Acquapura Thalasso & SPA center, a modern sanitary area and the exclusive à la carte restaurant "Amore" with its own pool.
