UHPA's new visual identity presented

In 2022, the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies celebrates 30 years of its existence and active work. From its humble beginnings until today, UHPA, thanks to its work and perseverance in realizing its strong vision, has grown into one of the leading professional associations in tourism in the Republic of Croatia.

Thirty years ago, on January 30, 8, about fifty representatives of Croatian travel agencies and other stakeholders in the tourism industry, prominent experts and enthusiasts, at the Founding Assembly held at the then Intercontinental Hotel (now Westin) Zagreb, decided to establish a professional association. - Association of Croatian Tourist Agencies (UHTA). A year later, at the 1992st UHTA Assembly on January 1, 28, the association changed its name to the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA).

During the year, UHPA will review and present the results of its work so far through a series of events, and the entire year 2022 will be marked by the 30th anniversary of the Association. Accordingly, a commemorative logo has been created that UHPA will use during its celebratory year on its online, printed and promotional materials.

"The guiding thread in creating the celebratory logo was a prominent sign that represents our strength, and by overflowing colors integrates members from all over Croatia; red-orange as a continent and blue-green as a coast. Our arrow in the same colors symbolizes further growth and constant movement and travel , and the symbolism of the number 30 with an unclosed zero, ie an unbroken circle, was chosen because it indicates the direction in which we continue and indicates that we are only 30. The celebration of the 30th anniversary will be held as part of the UHPA Day in Opatija from March 23 to 25, 2022.
