At the end of last week, a solemn promotion of graduates of the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality was held. It was promoted on that occasion 191 masters of economics and 40 university bachelors of economics.

The most successful graduate students were especially praised at the promotions: At the graduate university study Marketing in Tourism, the most successful students are Ivan Butković, Marinela Galetić Sabo and Ivana Paušić.

The most successful female students at the graduate university study of Management in Tourism are Antonia Škravan, Karla Keča and Helena Minđek. The most successful female students at the graduate university study of Management in Hospitality Management are Tara Bičević, Dora Dejanović and Vanda Belajec.

The most successful female students at the graduate university study Sustainable Tourism Development are Nicole Kadmen, Nikolina Fugošić and Angela Matejčić.

With the aim of encouraging excellence, the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality at the solemn promotion of the Master of Economics highlights and awards the most successful student of graduate university studies. This year, that part went to him Antonija Škravan, graduate students of the University of Tourism Management.

For the first time, the promotion was held in the new building of the Faculty in a unique location by the sea.

The annex of the building with a total gross area of ​​1.250 m2 is entirely intended for students, and serves as a functional three-storey space. The building is located directly behind the Faculty building and is connected by a warm connection into a unique functional unit. The ground floor of the building is entirely intended for library and reading room space as well as space for students, while lecture halls are located on the higher floors. Along with a total of five modern halls, the largest semi-amphitheater hall stands out. The new facility is not intended exclusively for regular classes, but is also a place that allows for stronger internationalization, holding scientific conferences, summer schools, both the Faculty and the University of Rijeka.
