Revenues from foreign tourists in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 824,7 million euros

In the first quarter of 2024, compared to the first three months of 2023, income from foreign tourists grew by 24,61%

According to data from the Croatian National Bank (HNB), in the first quarter of 2024, revenues from foreign tourists amounted to 824,7 million euros, which represents a growth of 24,61% compared to the first three months of 2023, i.e., revenues of 162,9 million euros more. 

"We are satisfied because the trend of achieving record revenues from foreign tourists over the past two years continued in 2024. From 2016 to the end of 2023, when revenues from foreign tourists amounted to a record 14,6 billion euros, we recorded an increase of 75% , and now this growth is even more pronounced outside the summer months. This is also a reconfirmation of all the strategic activities of the Croatian Government, which position Croatia as a year-round tourist destination, as shown by the results of this year's pre-season, in which we are in the first five months. achieved 12% better tourist traffic than in the same period last year", pointed out the Minister of Tourism and Sports Tonči Glavina.
