After a one-year break, Vinistra is finally returning to Poreč. After several delays this year, its 27th edition will take place June 18-20 first time outdoors.
Thus, the Poškera bay in Poreč will become the center of the wine world for three days. Winemakers can't wait to meet wine lovers, business partners and guests, and as they say, last wine year was excellent, so they are announcing top wines.
"A new date, a new location and the great joy of us winemakers that, despite another uncertain year, we will be able to organize our exhibition with the longest tradition in Croatia. The health and safety of visitors and winemakers come first, so we will strictly follow all recommended epidemiological measures. This is the most beautiful start of the summer season in Istria, which we hope will be better than last year", Says Nikola Benvenuti, president of Vinistra, the association of winegrowers and winemakers of Istria.
As a warm-up for the 27th Vinistra, on May 30, the Istrian Cellars Open Day awaits you, when Istrian winemakers traditionally open the doors of wineries from 10:00 to 19:00. Due to epidemiological measures, the number of places in the basements is limited, so visitors should announce and book an arrival date in advance this year.
By the way, this year Vinistra has opened a sales point in the exclusive space of the renovated Svetrosičent castle Morosini-Grimani, where, in cooperation with the Croatian Sommelier Club, it will regularly organize wine tastings. More attached.
