Six Senses has officially announced two new properties in Italy - Six Senses Milano and Six Senses Lake Como - through a management agreement with Gruppo Statuto.
These new hotels represent a significant step in the brand's expansion in the industry, following Six Senses Rome 2023 and the upcoming opening of Six Senses Antognollo in Umbria.
With nearly 100 hotels in Europe, the Luxury & Lifestyle IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio already includes eight Six Senses properties in Italy, Switzerland, France, Israel, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
Six Senses Milano is located in the heart of the famous art district of Brera, while Six Senses Lake Como revives the tradition of tourism on Lake Como, with a history dating back to the early 19th century.

"Italy is a beautiful country. There are few places where art, architecture, gastronomy and the joy of life come together so perfectly. Six Senses Milano and Six Senses Lake Como each embody a different mission - the former has been carefully crafted in size and design, to offer thoughtful hospitality and holistic well-being within one of Europe's most dynamic fashion capitals. The other is a quiet retreat immersed in one of the most magical gardens overlooking the lake, just 90 minutes away", he emphasizes Neil jacobs, CEO Six Senses.
The Milan hotel will provide guests with 68 accommodation units, of which 15 are apartments, two of which have a private pool. No Six Senses would be complete without a state-of-the-art spa, which means this one will have one, too. The hotel will also have a rooftop bar and a 'floating' pool.

Six Senses Lake Como, on the other hand, will combine the charm of the resort with the historical heritage of the region. It will have 102 rooms and suites, and there will be enough space for a Spa and wellness area. In addition to the outdoor pool and sun terrace, there will be a floating pool on the lake.
"We further strengthened the cooperation with Six Senses in order to bring the brand to the most prestigious destinations. After the success in Ibiza and Rome and the imminent opening in London, we are pleased to announce the purchase of two more historic buildings in iconic locations around the world. The portfolio of the Statuto Luxury Hotels Group is now a benchmark in the segment of luxury, luxury hospitality, where Italy leads in interests and investments thanks to its history, culture and refined lifestyle", he stated Joseph Statute, owner of the group.
