Representatives of the media, agents and influencers from Serbia visited Kvarner and visited the Crikvenica-Vinodol Riviera.

On that occasion, they were at the wine fair "WineRi", the festival of maritime heritage "Fiumare" in Rijeka and visited Opatija, Novi Vinodolski, Vrbnik, Selce and Crikvenica.

This group stayed on the Crikvenica-Vinodol Riviera on May 30 and 31. On the first day of their stay on the Riviera, the group arrived in Novi Vinodolski from Rijeka and visited the Pavlomir winery, where they were welcomed by the director of the Novi Vinodolski Tourist Board Tena Peričić, presented the tourist offer of Novi Vinodolski, where the winery is located , Miroslav Palinkaš. The owner of the winery told the history of planting vines in this wine valley, followed by a tasting of sparkling wines, wines and distillates of the wine house "Pavlomir". In addition to the tasting, visitors also visited the cellar of the winery, talked about ways to produce sparkling wine and wine and assortment.

From the winery, they took a tourist train to the port of Novljan and continued their exploration of the area by boat. They took a boat tour of Novi Vinodolski from the sea and headed to Vrbnik for further tastings and getting to know the eno-offer of Vrbnik. 

"I am looking forward to the visits of study groups that get acquainted with the offer of our region, but also promote it through their publications, oral lectures and what they experienced at the destination. They visited our winery sommelier, agents, influencers who have a great influence in the society in which they move and their word in promotion means a lot. I think that their stay in Novi Vinodolski will remain in their fond memories ", said director Tena Peričić.

In the area of ​​the Crikvenica Riviera, they visited the Eco Village Selce and got acquainted with wine production. Oenologist Nataša Vidović introduced them to all wine varieties, which they had the opportunity to meet and taste, and they especially liked Žlahtina, Sansigot and a little surprise - Pink from Sansigota. They were delighted by the plantations of lavender, immortelle, chamomile and many other herbs, along with olives and, of course, vines. In the continuation of the tour of the Riviera, they got acquainted with the tourist offer, hotel, camping and family accommodation, and special emphasis was placed on gastronomy. For this reason it is organized fine dining lunch at the Boutique restaurant of the Esplanade Hotel, where they were greeted by the director Alin Harambašić.

"The Serbian market is very important to us and we reluctantly accepted the opportunity to show them and bring them closer. We are aware that they are offered various other Mediterranean destinations, but excellent connections by land and soon by air direct flight from Belgrade to Rijeka Airport, are an excellent foundation to increase tourist traffic. "says the director of the Tourist Board of the City of Crikvenica Marijana Biondić and adds that kDuring the conversation with representatives from Serbia, a great commitment to the wider Rijeka area, ie Kvarner as a destination, and thus the Crikvenica-Vinodol Riviera due to beautiful beaches, diverse accommodation, countless opportunities for outdoor activities and highly regarded gastronomy.

"With their positive impressions, these tourist promoters will certainly further increase the popularity of the Crikvenica-Vinodol area in Serbia, because as they say:" You are the closest sea to us, and your household has shown that we are very welcome. All you need is to sit in car and after a few hours of driving enjoy the beautiful Crikvenica-Vinodol Riviera! ” concludes Biondić.
