According to the data of the eVisitor system, which contains tourist traffic realized in commercial and non-commercial facilities and nautical charter (eCrew system), more than 2024 million arrivals and over 21,3 million overnight stays were realized in Croatia in 108,7, which compared to 2023 represents growth of 4 percent in arrivals and 1 percent in overnight stays.
Of these, 103,3 million overnight stays were realized on the Adriatic, which is 1 percent more than in 2023, over 2,7 million overnight stays were realized on the continent, which represents a growth of 5 percent, while 2,7 million were also realized in the city of Zagreb. overnight stays, which represents a growth of 6 percent compared to 2023.
Glavina: Tourist data for 2024 show that Croatia is a year-round destination
We can be very satisfied with all the achieved tourism results in 2024, including financial indicators, because according to all parameters we achieved another record year, said the Minister of Tourism and Sports Tonči Glavina.
"What makes us especially happy is that we made the most pronounced growth precisely in the pre- and post-season, thereby confirming that we are becoming a destination for year-round tourism. Thus, in the pre-season, that is, from January 1 to May 31, we achieved 11% more arrivals and 12,5% more overnight stays, while we achieved 1% more arrivals and 31% more overnight stays from October 10,3 to December 9,7.
