With the aim of improving the quality of catering and tourism staff and secondary vocational education in general in the tourism sector and with the aim of raising the competitiveness of Croatian tourism through the strengthening of professional associations, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced Public call for secondary vocational and art schools for promotion and strengthening the competencies of vocational occupations for tourism in 2021 te Public tender for co-financing projects of professional associations in tourism and / or catering.
A total of HRK 800 is intended for a wide range of projects on the topic of eco-tourist destination, tourism with elements of volunteerism (tourist-volunteer), tourist product that provides local experience, application of IT technology in creating a tourist product of the destination. I can apply for projects secondary vocational and art schools whose founders are the City, for example, Zagreb, the County or the Republic of Croatia.
The amount of requested funds can be a maximum of 25 thousand kuna, if one school applies, or 50 thousand kuna if two or more schools apply. Priorities for the award of grants will be given to projects involving cooperation with economic entities, institutions and other stakeholders from the public, private and civil sectors, and projects applied for by at least two partner schools from different education sectors.
A total of two and a half million kuna will be available for projects that contribute to raising the quality of human resources in tourism and hospitality by applying innovative solutions for sustainable development. I can apply for projects professional associations in tourism and / or catering which by statute have established activities in the field of tourism and / or catering. Partners within this public tender may be associations whose field of activity is thematically related to the project or objectives of the Public Tender.
The amount of requested funds can be from forty thousand kuna to two hundred thousand kuna per individual project, and the applicant can claim a maximum of 70 percent of the project value and apply for a maximum of one project. Priority in co-financing will be given to applicants who employ at least one young unemployed person of appropriate profession and / or volunteer experience in a certain field (up to 30 years), at least one unemployed person with a disability of appropriate profession and / or volunteer experience in a certain field for project preparation and implementation. area, who are applying for projects with an emphasis on sustainable tourism development by applying innovative solutions and have one or more partners in the implementation of the project.
Over the past five years, the Ministry has been through the program Occupational promotion allocated around 2,3 million kuna and financed 80 projects. Through a public tender, the Ministry has co-financed 79 projects to strengthen professional associations in the last five years in the total amount of ten million kuna.
