The best in tourism in 2023 will be awarded the "Golden boule" of the TZ Šibenik-Knin County

On the occasion of the Šibenik-Knin County Tourism Day, in the Croatian National Theater Šibenik, after a three-year break, "Golden boules" - awards and recognitions - were ceremoniously awarded Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board for exceptional contribution in the field of tourist offer and promotion.

The prizes were awarded by the Prefect of Šibenik-Knin, Dr. sc. Marko Jelić, at the same time the president of the Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board and director of the Tourist Board mr. sc. Krešimir Šakić.

"We had a turbulent tourist season, but in the end we can still be satisfied, because we have achieved most of what we have been highlighting as important strategic goals for years, such as the increase in guest arrivals and income and the reduction of seasonality. Today we want to reward some of you and thank everyone to those who contribute to the development of tourism in the county", said director Šakić.

"We are satisfied, because we finished this year well and are already preparing for the new tourist season. I want to congratulate all the laureates and point out that this is an award for their successes and the work and effort they invested in the tourism promotion of our county, municipalities and cities, and thereby promoting its natural beauty, cultural heritage and the hospitality of our people", said the prefect and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and an even more successful new year 2024.

"Golden boules" of the Tourist Board of Šibenik-Knin County are awarded to individuals and groups from Šibenik-Knin County, from the private and public tourism sector, for exceptional contribution in the field of marketing activities in tourism and tourist offer. This award rewards the best achievements in tourism, but also encourages the introduction of innovations and the creation and development of new tourism products. 

This year, prizes and awards were given in 28 categories, namely for the best destination, attraction, cultural and artistic manifestations, accommodation, gastronomic offer and other activities and products that directly or indirectly complete the tourist offer and experience in the county.

3. THE CITY OF SKRADIN – an authentic destination of the year
4. ARMERUN HERITAGE HOTEL & RESIDENCES, Šibenik – the best heritage hotel accommodation
5. MARINA FRAPA RESORT ROGOZNICA – the best marina
6. OBONJAN ISLAND RESORT – the best glamping
7. JEZERA LOVIŠĆE CAMPING – the best camp-resort
8. KAMP BLATA and Mr. ANTE SRDAREV – host of the year in family accommodation
9. Chef MATE SUČIĆ – chef of the year
10. STRIKOMAN'S BISTRO, Vodice – promotion of authentic gastronomy and local products
11. FABRO RESTAURANT, Murter – gastronomic offer in 2023.
12. Association BETINSKA GAJETA 1740 - promotion and preservation of the tradition of Betina caulking
13. Citizens' association "KRČ" Primošten - promotion and preservation of the traditions of the Primošten region

25. Special recognition to the JADRIJA CITY SWIMMING POOL on the occasion of 100 years of existence
26. Special award to TISNO MUNICIPALITY on the occasion of 100 years of tourism
