The Austrian investment house Sallina took over ownership of the Sveti Martin spa from another Austrian company EB ERSTE BANK INTERNATIONALE BETEILIGUNGEN, reports Lider.
With this, the company that manages the Sveti Martin Terme entered the Gitone group, which operates as part of the group Lürssen, a German family company headed by Peter Lürssen, which is run by the fourth generation.
It is a leading German private shipbuilding company, best known in the segment of luxury megayachts and military ships. Lürssen has a total of 8 shipyards from which the yachts favored by the world's elite leave.
Sallina is owned by the Austrian branch of Gitone, which operates over 50 companies in Croatia, mostly in Kvarner.
The first man of Gitone's operations in Croatia is Johannes Böck with 36 operational and supervisory functions. Among other things, he is the chairman of the supervisory board Liburnia Riviera Hotel, and also leads the project ACI - Giton, that is, the construction of the new Porto Baroš marina.
This project in partnership with the state nautical company ACI is based on a 30-year concession for more than ten hectares of the harbor in the very center of Rijeka.
