The final stage of the arrangement of part of the coast and the pier for tourist boats in Skradin is in progress

Works on the arrangement of the wharf on the maritime property managed by the Public Institution "Krka National Park" based on the Concession Agreement in Skradin are coming to an end. The works, which began in January 2021 and continued in March of this year, were prolonged due to the newly created conditions of moving the installations and preserving the century-old mulberry tree. 

The deadline for the completion of all works and the reopening of the road was in June this year, however, due to the additional conditions of other public law bodies and their need to install new infrastructure installations in the same area, the deadline was extended until the beginning of August 2022.

"The extension of the deadline was also influenced by the need to coordinate with the works of horticultural landscaping near the pier and the laying of the electricity connection through the already prepared road for asphalting. All additional interventions in the area that caused the extension of the deadline are beyond the competence of the Public Institution NP Krka". according to the Krka National Park.

The arrangement of 145 meters of the coast in Skradin and the installation of four piers for the reception of up to eight tourist boats ensure additional stability of the city's waterfront and significantly improve the previous conditions for the use of the coast. 

In addition to the possibility of purchasing online tickets for the Park, visitors will be able to book the departure time of the boat from Skradin and the return from Skradinsko buk. In conclusion, this is an important infrastructural project that will reduce crowding when boarding and disembarking to enter the Krka National Park.
