The National DMK Forum will be held on November 26 at The Westin Zagreb Hotel

Organized by the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) and the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA), the ninth National DMK Forum will be held on November 26, 2024 at The Westin Zagreb hotel.

Registration of participants will begin at 11:30 a.m., and from 12:15 p.m. the time for press statements is scheduled. The official start is expected at 12:30 p.m.

He will attend the forum Kristjan Staničić from the Croatian Tourist Board, Tomislav Fain from the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies and advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Sports Igor Radić.

David Mora (Emoturismo) will hold a lecture on "Unlocking the Potential of Year-Round Gastronomy Tourism", while Ingeborg Matečić (Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb - Department of Tourism) to hold a presentation "Potentials of intangible cultural heritage in creating a tourist product of gastronomic tourism". 

Examples of good practice from foreign companies Eating Europe and Balkantina and domestic destination management companies Adriatic DMC doo, Wayoudo doo - Free Spirit Tours and Rudi Travel - Rudi express doo will be presented to the participants. 

After a short break, the chefs Rudolf Stefan i Bernard Step will refer to the development of gourmet tourism in Croatia.

Finally, excellent examples of destination management will be presented: Istria - Green Mediterranean and Kvarner - European Region of Gastronomy 2026.
