The Tourist Board of the town of Vinkovci started the project Živimo Destinacija Vinkovci last year. It is a kind of destination platform for the cooperation of all local stakeholders, which was supported by the Croatian Tourist Board and the Tourist Board of Vukovar-Srijem County through the Fund for Tourism Underdeveloped Areas.
It began as a Sustainable Vinkovci project, which contained a number of activities, and from all of them crystallized the establishment of a model of continuous and functional cooperation of the tourist community (as an institution that manages the development of the destination and the key stakeholders of private renters. Namely, in their business, they directly and actively participate in the creation and supporting the development of the destination, that is why the Tourist Board of the town of Vinkovci sent an invitation and focused their attention on them.
This year, the development of the project continues through key activities:
- Stakeholder visit to cultural institutions and tasting rooms
- Education of stakeholders on the topic of digital marketing
- Education on the topic of activities of the tourist board
- Increasing the visibility of the campaign I love Vinkovce
