Hotel Pinija in Petrčani hosted last year the first guests from the cruise ship, thus becoming one of the first hotels to host guests from cruise ships.
As he emphasized then Dragan Simac, director Hotel Pinija in Petrčani, who spent 22 years in the cruise industry, they have what a cruise ship does not have - and that is the smell of pine trees and the sound of crickets.
And yes, when you look at it from another angle, and as I mentioned, Šimac has many years of experience working on cruise ships, the smell of pine trees and the sound of crickets is exactly what the guests need. Of course, with the possibility of swimming in the sea and a quality offer.
That the move and insistence of Šimac in communicating with the agencies was a complete hit, is proof that cooperation with cruise ships is expanding this year. After the first successful cooperation with Intercruises Shoreside/TUI, cooperation with the Elite Travel agency is now open.

Guests from the cruise ship have more options to use their day in Zadar. Some decide to visit wineries, some to visit National and Natural Parks, while others want the smell of pines, the sound of crickets, lunch and free time for swimming as part of one of the offers of Hotel Pinije.
Everything is a matter of the guests' own choice and preferences, but the most important thing is to offer quality and diverse offers to the guests in the destinations. And they choose how they want to spend quality time in the destination.
Interestingly, Hotel Pinije already received inquiries for future guest accommodation during the first organized tour of guests from the cruise ship. Which means that the story spreads through added value, i.e. direct booking and opening of new guest profiles.
