The world premiere of a Croatian sailboat at the first edition of the Dalmatia Boat Show

In less than two weeks, the first will be held in Seget Donji Dalmatia Boat Show. On this occasion, the organizer of the fair and the owner of Grupacija Baotić, Željko Baotić, he said that he wanted to preserve the continuity of Dalmatian nautical fairs in April.

"We have already almost filled all the capacities in the tents, as well as the exhibition spaces for 200 boats. For the exhibitors, the most expensive transport costs are, and that is why many chose Marina Baotić. And for next year, we already have an appointment, so given the huge interest, we will certainly expand showroom", said Baotić, adding that twenty ship premieres are expected, including the world premiere of a Croatian sailboat.

The Dalmatia Boat Show will be held from April 18 to 21, and visitors can expect over 200 boats and more than 100 exhibitors and an exciting party program. "Ernest Hemingway wrote that it's easy to be a fisherman in May, and we caught a new nautical fair in the net, and that's why I'm very happy", said the deputy prefect of the Split-Dalmatia County, Stipe Čogelja and emphasized that the preseason is already a record at this point.

"How important nautical tourism is to the domestic economy is amply demonstrated by the continuous growth in which Croatia is the world leader. Last year, 585 charter guests visited our country, which resulted in over three million and eight hundred thousand overnight stays. We also have more than a thousand charter companies that shows the importance of this industry", he stressed Joze Tomas, president of HGK - Split County Chamber.

Those looking for a new boat will have the opportunity to choose from new and used vessels that include sports boats, flybridge yachts and day cruisers.

"Dalmatia is not by chance at the very top of the world's nautical offer. Our nature, the sea and the islands speak for themselves, and when you add our gastronomy and hospitality, I think that every ship that sails into Dalmatia can leave with a wonderful memory", said the director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, Ivana Vladović, while the head of Seget, Ivo Sorić, emphasized the importance of the fair for the local community:

"It is nice to be the mayor of Seget, when we see the preparation of the Dalmatia Boat Show. We are already among the five most visited destinations in the county, and with this we will surely become the top destination in terms of overnight stays", the mayor of Seget highlighted the importance of the fair at the end, Ivo Sorić.
