The first place and the Simply the Best award in the fierce competition of travel agencies from all over Croatia was won by the Split agency Eklata for the innovative application Izlet.hr. It is the most prestigious award of the Put business and tourism exchange, which was held on April 10 in Biograd.
Izlet.hr is the first, free and currently the only application in Croatia for the independent creation of one-day school trips.
Although many parents feel that they have no other option but to accept the offer that the school and travel agency serve for their children's trips, thanks to the unique web application Izlet.hr, now they, as well as students along with teachers and professors, can be creative creators of the contents of school trips and have insight into the most favorable prices.
Namely, through the Izlet.hr application, users can independently create a complete program of their one-day school trip in Croatia, Slovenia and Austria in a few clicks, and in a few seconds they will receive the entire offer as well as all the information about the price and the contents it includes.
History and culture, entertainment, sports, nature... everyone can choose the content of a tailor-made excursion and immediately get an insight into the price, thus having the financial aspect of the excursion under control.
The Izlet.hr application is an example of successful digitization in tourism, which is crucial for the further progress of this sector, it was pointed out at the award ceremony in Biograd.
