The organizing committee of the Vinkova Autumns traditionally organized the Journalists' Divan this year as an announcement of the Vinkova Autumns, but above all as an informal meeting with media representatives before the start of the biggest manifestation of traditional culture in Croatia. Ahead of the 59th Vinkovci Autumns, which will be held from September 13 to 22 under the title "Hands of Shocking Memories", the organizers and media representatives admired the "nasrid" of Vinkovci this evening.

"I greet you and thank you for being here today, as well as every day, every moment, every text, spoken word, image, which you have sent to our public so far, and which refer to the Vinkovac autumns. The autumns of Vinkovci without the media, without everything that you send to the world, would not have been so strong, so great, they would not have lived for almost six decades, they would not have been heard about in every corner of the world, I would not be able to be when I represent the city of Vinkovci I am so proud to say that I am at the head of the organization of such a manifestation as Vinkovacje Jeseni. So thank you very much and I hope that you will always stand by our Jeseni and convey this beauty that Slavonia has", said the president of the Organizing Committee of the Vinkovci Autumns, the mayor of Vinkovci Ivan Bosančić.

And that beauty, he said, is traditional culture, but also what is difficult to explain without experiencing it, which is the hospitality of the Slavonian people, of this county, of the town of Vinkovci, of all those KUDs, of every family that receives KUDs. sheep as guests and tries to make them feel at home.

"Those are the Vinkovac autumns, and thank you for spreading such a beautiful word about it. I invite you and I invite all dear guests and all people from Vinkovci, I will not say to the 59th Vinkovci Autumn, but to a festival, to a manifestation that is a manifestation of friendship, traditional culture, gastronomy, entertainment, but also the Olympics of folklore. That's why I invite everyone to Vinkovci to the 59th Folklore Olympiad of the Vinkovci Autumn. Let all eyes be on our city in the ten days of AutumnMayor Bosančić called.

He presented the central program, traditional culture events Stjepan Đurković, secretary of the Community of Cultural and Artistic Activities VSŽ.

"Everything is ready and Autumn can begin. On Friday, September 13, we start with Folkloric evenings that last until Wednesday, and each evening 9 groups will perform. On Saturday, September 14, we have an inter-county children's fair with the performance of 14 groups from all over Croatia and the guests of Children's Vinkovac Autumn, Croats from Uruguay. On Sunday, September 15, over 2000 children will take part in the Children's Vinkovac Autumn Parade. On Saturday, September 21, there is the first part of the State Fair of Original Croatian Folklore with the performance of 15 groups, and on Sunday, September 22, immediately after the parade, there is the second part with 9 groups and in the evening the third part with 16 groups. In total, there are 39 visiting groups, which is an impressive number and we are all happy because it shows that Croatian folklorists live for the Vinkovci autumns and love to come to Vinkovci. In the main and most attractive program of the Vinkovac autumns, the ceremonial parade, this year we have 70 groups, 27 carts and 56 riders.", pointed out Đurković.

The Vinkovci autumns are synonymous with the people of Vinkovci, and the Vinkovci once again, for the 59th time, welcome guests with open arms, pointed out the director of the Tourist Board of the town of Vinkovci Martina Matković.

"We are looking forward to being able to show all the wealth of traditional culture to our visitors. We are happy to be able to host them, and we believe that we are good hosts, as evidenced by the return of our guests every year. The program is really rich and every year we try to upgrade it and offer content for the youngest and beyond. So we have a Garden of Ideas in our Museum, which proved to be very interesting for the little ones. For those who are a bit older, there are various concerts every evening and all those fun activities on our Slavonski Sokak, in Bircuz and in Vinski Šor. So, in addition to the traditional part, which is the most important, we offer much, much more, and I believe that everyone will find entertainment for themselves", pointed out Martina Matković.

From September 13 to 22, representatives of the media have the job of following the Vinkovac autumns, but, one could hear, it is not just a job for any of them. The Vinkovac autumns are in the hearts of all of them. It is also confirmed Jasna Matija Sablja, journalist and editor at Plava Vinkovac Television and Davor Lončarić, editor-in-chief of HRT's Radio Osijek.

"Vinkovac jesenie and I love each other, I won't say secretly, but very much. As Vinkovac television, we subordinate all our resources to Vinkovac jeseni, and that is a lot of work. Personally, I exaggerate and report that I am doing everything, so sometimes I think that I won't be able to withstand it, and my colleagues tell me this in good faith. However, I really live for Autumn and I think that nothing can compare with the Vinkovac Autumns. I think that the Vinkovac Autumns are really a manifestation that is not only the brand of this city, but of Slavonia and Baranja, highly positioned on the tourist map of Croatia, and everyone knows about the Vinkovac Autumns. With due respect to others, they are far above all manifestations of traditional culture and everyone can copy from them. I love them very much and I love doing them, and once I close the doors of my journalistic work, which will happen soon, I think: what will I do without the Vinkovac autumns, my journalist's pen and my camera", pointed out Jasna Matija Sabljo.

"The Vinkovac autumns are one of our biggest manifestations, not only folklore but also social and a big deal for our media, Radio Osijek. We cover the area of all five Slavonian counties, so we are hosts in Vinkovci in a way. We follow various events in this county, but it is especially joyful when we come to Vinkovci at this time when everything is cheerful, singing, dancing and when you can show all that traditional wealth, which is preserved here in the best way. I am glad that it has been going on for 59 years. Autumns are older than me and older than my career as a journalist, I used to come here as a small child with my parents. So, it's not just my job, it's also my personal love, and, of course, when I started working in journalism, it was quite logical that I was happy to come whenever I was sent here, and even today, here, as the editor-in-chief of Radio Osijek, I am glad that I can send myself, as it is today, or my reporters, to convey all this beauty and wealth", said Davor Lončarić.
