Makarska finally has a "wheelhouse" of tourist development

At today's session of the Tourist Council of the city of Makarska, Marina Josipović was elected as the new director of the Tourist Board of Makarska. 

Along with Mrs. Josipović, the application was submitted by Mr Tonči Actor, but the Tourist Board unanimously chose Mrs. Josipović.

Marina Josipović graduated in Tourism Destination Management at the University of Dubrovnik in 2002, Tourism Business in 2010 at the University of Split, and in 2013 in Management, majoring in Project Management.

During more than twenty years of work in the profession, she was at the head of the Park Makarska hotel for eight years, as a director she participated in the opening of the five-star hotel Aminess Khalani, and as a sector expert during her rich career she was engaged in various guilds and formal and informal organizations . 

"Marina is an exceptional professional, with extensive formal education and more than 20 years of experience in tourism, whom people in the profession know very well and appreciate her previous work. That is why I am convinced that it will achieve the goals outlined in our strategic framework and be an important cog in the vision of turning towards sustainable tourism tailored to local people and our guests.", said the mayor of Makarska, Zoran Paunović, and wished the new director welcome to the team and good luck in her future work.
