Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board allows family accommodation owners every year free education and training, all with the aim to help them overcome market turbulence, change regulations, meet new trends, understand market interests, but also ways to make their prices and services as accessible as possible through modern channels of promotion, and enrich them with new quality.
Director of the Tourist Board of the Split-Dalmatia County Joško Stella explains that as a tourist board, from the beginning of free education in 2013 until today, they have educated between 6 and 000 landlords.
"The cycle we announced today and presented the largest set of trainings so far, and will be held at 15 locations throughout our county. What is important for us to point out is that our education is led by Barbara Markovic, who is also the president of the Association of Family Accommodation in Croatia, which means that we have relevant people with whom we have been working for many years. We do quality education and in that sense we have an extremely good one feedback by the landlords themselves" adds Stella.
In the county area is about 26 000 landlords who are engaged in tourism, and many of them want to learn more about how to rent an apartment, provide professional service and increase the quality of service and accommodation. Organized by the Tourist Board of the Split-Dalmatia County, and in cooperation with local tourist boards, free trainings are planned this year at 15 different locations.
The plan is to start with trainings on February 26.02. with the island of Brač, and further maintain them according to the plan and program every weekend at the following locations:

The trainings will include modules on the rights and obligations of private renters, how to be a good host in tourism with the presentation of new activities in the destination, and advertising on social networks. The lecturers are long-term educators Barbara Markovic, president of the family accommodation association and head of education, and her colleagues are Tomislav Zović - IT expert and owner of a digital marketing company, To Ana Brničević, a lawyer specializing in landlord rights.
Applications will be available via links on the pages of local tourist boards, social networks and the pages of the County Tourist Board, and all interested parties are invited to apply as soon as possible because the number of places will be limited and in accordance with prescribed measures.
