After two pandemic years, another F.RE.E - the largest international tourism fair in Bavaria - took place in its full format. The fair took place from February 21 to 27, and Munich hosted almost a thousand exhibitors from about 70 countries. The partner country of this year's fair was Croatia.

Among the numerous exhibitors was i Crikvenica Tourist Board which leased the stand together with the hotel Jadran Crikvenica - hotels and camps and at a joint stand Croatian National Tourist Board.

Already on the first day of the fair, a record number of visitors arrived - more than 160.000, and the satisfaction of the exhibitors with the visitors was rated the highest. The visitors were very satisfied with the offer, and on the fair's official website it is estimated that the partner country was an extremely big lure for coming to the fair, which is a special compliment to all tourism workers in Croatia.

Gordana Jelenović, the representative of TZG Crikvenica at the fair in Munich, pointed out that all the promotional materials of the Crikvenica Riviera were distributed in record time, and that the interest in our Riviera was significantly higher than usual. Marijana Biondić, director of TZG Crikvenica, recalled with pleasure the year 2022, in which the number of German guests exceeded the number from 2019. We will remind you that in 2022, Crikvenica was visited by 526.512 guests from Germany, which is 10,71% more than in 2019.

The extremely good attendance at the f.re. fair and the great interest in the Crikvenica Riviera are pleasing, and we hope that the trend of increasing German tourists will continue this year on the Crikvenica Riviera, and that the 2023 tourist season will exceed all records for the number of guests from Germany", concluded Director Biondić.
