Lošinj has been attracting more and more visitors for years and is becoming a permanent destination for lovers of the archipelago. The island of vitality can boast of many long-term guests, because of which Mali Lošinj Tourist Board continues to reward their loyalty.
Mrs. Angelika Deuss and Mr. Hans-Werner Winkelmann have been guests of the Brčić family for over 20 years. They come from Düsseldorf, Germany. Dear guests were the late Vazma and Sonja Brčić (Božidar's parents).
They always come in the month of May, the exception was during covid when they came in September. On that occasion, in September 2021, they were in Lošinj during Losinava and attended the maritime festivities, which they particularly liked. They love nature, they walk a lot (especially Hans-Werner), they visit practically all places on the island of Lošinj, but also on Cres. Hans - Werner is very fond of history as well as art history.
He is fascinated by the history of this archipelago, especially Osor - with its rich history. He says that practically every older house should have what was in it during the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy written on it - exactly as it is written on some buildings.
They recently tried "virtual glasses" in Osor and it also fascinated them. They say that they see a big change (positive of course) since they first came here, in terms of the road from the ferry to Mali Lošinj, but also in the town itself. Many houses have been renovated, the streets and streets are clean, a lot has been done in the city on green areas.
