On October 25 and 26, 2023, the Šibenik - Knin County Tourist Board and the Krka National Park Public Institution hosted members of the Administrative and Supervisory Board of the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA).
During a two-day study visit, in addition to holding a session of the Association's body, representatives of travel agencies got to know part of the rich offer of the Šibenik-Knin County and visited still undiscovered tourist pearls.
"We are extremely pleased to introduce the representatives of travel agencies, members of UHPA, to the rich tourist offer of the interior of Šibenik-Knin County. In addition to the upper part of NP "Krka", which certainly forms the backbone of the tourist attraction of the interior of our county, there are also numerous other fascinating natural attractions - the springs of Cetina and Krka, and the mountains of Dinara and Promin, which with their hiking and cycling paths offer numerous opportunities for outdoor activities, but also no less interesting cultural and historical heritage, of which we would definitely highlight the Knin Fortress, Drniška The castle and mausoleum of Ivan Meštrović Also, whether the motive for coming is natural or cultural heritage, a visit to the interior of our county should undoubtedly be rounded off with the exceptional eno and gastronomic offer of the Dalmatian Zagora, which the TZ Šibenik-Knin County will soon additionally present with different thematic routes of characteristic traditional agricultural products of this region. end. This is certainly an opportunity for the representatives of our most prominent travel agencies to familiarize themselves with the increasingly rich offer of both accommodation and attractive spending time in this still undiscovered pearl of our region.", he said Krešimir Šakić, director of TZ Šibenik - Knin County.
UHPA representatives visited localities in the area of the national park and the Krka Eco campus, where they viewed the natural history and archeology collection, as well as the new accommodation facilities.
"It is a great pleasure for us to host this working meeting at the Eco Campus 'Krka' in Puljani. It is an opportunity to deepen cooperation with our long-standing and most important partners. I hope they will enjoy visiting the magical middle and upper course of the Krka River, but also getting to know of the Campus itself, which, thanks to the newly renovated accommodation, presentation and environmental facilities, offers new forms of visiting NP 'Krka': study stay, student excursions, field lessons or school in nature. That is why I hope that by cooperating we will create numerous new facilities for our dear guests , users of travel agency services", pointed out the director of the "Krka" National Park Public Institution, Nella Slavica.
UHPA organizes a study visit to one of the domestic destinations at least once a year. For selected destinations, this is an opportunity to present themselves to travel organizers and open up new opportunities for cooperation.

Our members offer a diverse range of services and I am sure that the tourism potential of this area will find its place in their offer for organized arrivals, but also individual visitors, lovers of rural tourism, natural beauty and indigenous cuisine", he said Tomislav Fain, President of UHPA.
