In order to seriously position ourselves on the European map of congress tourism, it has been pointed out for years that we need congress halls that can accommodate over 1000 participants.
Apart from Šibenik, ie the Šibenik Convention Center within the Amadria Park, which has the capacity to organize conferences with a capacity of up to 1500 people, so far in Croatia we have not had another representative facility / destination that can host large congresses. Also, in Zagreb, as the capital of Croatia, there has been talk for years about the need for the same and construction has been announced by the City several times, but still everything is just an empty story.
But now Valamar Riviera is entering the scene, building the largest hotel congress center in Istria - Pical Convention Center
