VELPRO and the National Association of Family and Small Hotels signed a Cooperation Agreement

Support in maintaining competitiveness and creating quality conditions to improve the business of small and family hotels

Velpro-Centar doo has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the National Association of Family and Small Hotels, which will enable even better mutual cooperation and more competitive business conditions for family and small hotels. At the beginning of the year, Velpro separated from the system of Konzum dd and became a separate company called Velpro - Centar doo with the basic focus of business in the segment of wholesale and HoReCe. Velpro - Center currently employs more than 1300 employees and operates in 24 wholesale centers throughout Croatia.

From the very beginning of its business, Velpro-Centar doo pays special attention to the HoReCa segment, within which small and family hotels play a significant role. The partnership is continuously expanding by cooperating on various projects aimed at supporting, preserving and improving business, which is confirmed by today's signing of the Cooperation Agreement which will ensure better procurement and distribution conditions for Croatian small and family hotels.

VELPRO can boast of many years of successful cooperation with hoteliers and the entire HoReCa segment, said Dražen Kocijan, President of the Management Board of Velpro-Center and points out “It is with this signing of the Cooperation Agreement with the National Association of Small Family Hotels that we want to further improve the previous successful cooperation in the segment of small family hotels, where VELPRO recorded a 15% increase in sales in the first quarter of this business year. In this context, we can announce a new business policy based on which from the beginning of May there will be a reduction in prices in VELPRO centers of 3-5% depending on the category of assortment which will additionally provide partners with the most favorable and competitive prices in the wholesale market. "

During the signing of the Cooperation Agreement, which will certainly contribute to a stronger placement of quality Croatian products in the hotel industry, VELPRO points out that a completely new range has been introduced exclusively for hotels and restaurants such as fish, special premium meat processing. "In order to ensure better procurement conditions for its members, the Association has signed a partnership agreement with Velpro, which will also help promotion and education. members " pointed out Šime Klarić, President of the Management Board of family and small hotels and added that the cooperation of these two national chains, hotel and retail, will certainly contribute to a stronger placement of quality Croatian products through our hotels.

Appreciating homemade Know-how and supporting the development of local hotel services, Velpro has been a partner of Croatian hotels for many years, and this Agreement is another step forward. In this way, Velpro once again confirmed that it is a strategic partner of both large and small Croatian hotels and that through cooperation with them it best supports domestic production and placement of Croatian products in Croatian tourism.
