Wave 4 Tourism: The main topics of the conference are directed towards the sensory experience of visitors

This fall, from September 29 to October 2, 2022., for the second time there will be a conference organized by students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the University of Rijeka - Wave 4 Tourism.

The WAVE FOR TOURISM (W4T) conference is an initiative of the students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija. The aim of the conference is to offer new knowledge and experiences of renowned experts in the fields of tourism, marketing, sales, management and sustainable development. Through the transfer of knowledge, exchange of experiences, networking and socializing, leaders of the new generation will be created.

The topics of this year's conference are directed towards sensory experience of visitors (eng. sensory experience) with an emphasis on tourism and catering.

Lectures on the first day will be divided into two sections:

1. Pack your senses,

2. Now it makes sense!

In each section, participants will have the opportunity to listen to lectures by 4 major experts in those fields. Some of the names of the lecturers are Domagoj Sever, Ante Marić, Tatjana Janjatović, Ivana Surać and Diana Grgurić. The moderator of the conference is Goran Rihelj.

The goal of the conference is to bring together students from Croatia and the region to encourage knowledge transfer and mutual connection of future leaders, and this year over 200 student participants are expected.

On the second day of the conference, various workshops, panel discussions and the Food Festival will be held, and the evening will be rounded off with a concert by Antoni Krištofić. Via social networks, you can send a request for tickets and see all available packages.
