Was 2022 the year of digitization? How digitized are the organizers of excursions and tours? 

Orioly, an online booking system intended for organizers of tours and excursions, is conducting a survey in which they want to find out whether 2022 was the year of digitization.

More precisely, they want to compare the data from this research with the data they have from 2021, when they came to the result that only 17% of tour and excursion organizers in Croatia use the online booking system for selling tours and excursions.

In addition to sales, they want to see what the situation is with the promotion of the offer, i.e. whether digital tools such as the website, social networks and other benefits are used in a way to attract new visitors and increase the number of sold tours and excursions.

The survey is intended for everyone who in some way deals with the sale or resale of tours and excursions, and the goal is to gather as many answers as possible so that the results are as representative as possible.

The team from Orioly is also involved in the association Smart tourism, where together with colleagues from the IT and tourism profession, they work to improve and inform about digital solutions that can automate and simplify any business.

With this research, they want to contribute to the current state of Croatian tourism, improve it and adapt it to the modern tourist.
