Croatia Airlines has signed a contract with Panasonic Avionics Corporation, the world's leading provider of in-flight network connectivity (IFEC), to provide Wi-Fi services for its new Airbus A220 fleet.
The Croatian national airline has decided to equip its fleet with Wi-Fi for the first time through the installation of Panasonic Avionics' Ku-band satellite system on 15 new A220 aircraft by 2027.
Croatia Airlines passengers on A220 aircraft will be able to enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi during the flight, which will allow them to stay connected, work, they are surfing or communicate with loved ones. Every seat on the new A220 fleet will also feature USB-A and USB-C ports, along with handy smartphone and tablet holders for greater passenger comfort.
Croatia Airlines chose Panasonic Avionics as a service provider thanks to their Ku-band solution, which meets the highest requirements of the company when it comes to network services. This decision was made to ensure compliance with the Airbus A220 platform and reaffirms Croatia Airlines' commitment to providing exceptional services to passengers.
