The Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb (TZGZ) responded to the organization's invitation City Destinations Alliance (CityDNA) which initiated the unique experience exchange program for Ukrainian members.
It is a one-week training program for Ukrainian employees of tourist information centers (TIC) in visitor centers of other member cities. Thus, they will arrive in Zagreb on Sunday, July 10 employee Yana Terletska from TIC in Lviv and will work in our information centers for a week, exchanging experiences with colleagues from Zagreb.
"As soon as we saw the invitation of the CityDNA organization, we decided to participate in what they say is a unique European solidarity program in tourism, where we can offer what we do best every day - hospitality. Our employees met Yana in Lviv a few years ago, and it is interesting to point out that she speaks and writes Croatian perfectly, which she learned herself because, as she says, she loves Croatia. I expect that Yana's involvement in our TICs will go well in the working atmosphere, because the number of visitors is increasing every day. I would also like to welcome Yana Terletski to Zagreb and hope that, despite the difficult times, her stay and internship with us will be valuable and that she will bring back beautiful memories." said Martina Bienenfeld, director of TZGZ.
Since May, TZGZ has also been cooperating with Ukrainian influencer i blogger Annom Tilniak, and by responding to CityDNA's invitation, Zagreb becomes one of 10 European cities participating in the experience exchange program for Ukrainian members.
