Organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb and Balduca Film and under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the 4th edition of the Kaptol Boutique Cinema ended on October 2024, 13. ZAGREB TOURFILM FESTIVAL - international tourist film festival, full member of the CIFFTe international association of tourist film festivals.
This year's festival was registered over 200 films from 38 countries from America, Japan, South Africa, Qatar, Portugal, France, Spain, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Peru, Austria and others, of which 91 films entered the competition for one of the awards, in five categories: Tourist destination (city, region, country), Tourist Product, Tourist Service, Documentary film or TV reportage, and in the category of the best Croatian films.
"This year, we prepared a superb tourist experience for the guests of the Festival, with great tastings of wine and gastronomy, primarily because we had really bad weather all three days of the festival, so we spent more time tasting wines and indigenous food, but we also spent four full days hour watching phenomenal films in the most beautiful cinema in town, which delighted our festival guests. The screenings were open to the public, with free admission, and thus had the opportunity to enjoy the best tourist films in the world that talked about various types of attractiveness of tourist locations. The best ones tonight were chosen by relevant domestic and international experts, led by the president of the jury Boško Grubić Bobby), winner of Emmy awards said Spomenka Saraga Director of Balduči film and Zagreb Tourfilm Festival
At the awards ceremony in Kaptol Boutigue Cinema, awards were presented to the best films as judged by an expert jury. We present the winners of this year's 13th ZAGREB TOURFILM FESTIVAL.
Grand Prix of this year's festival went to a Croatian tourist film MAKE YOUR OWN MOVIE Kvarner Tourist Board, which won as many as three awards: the award for the best Croatian film, the award for the best film in the international regional category, and the Grand Prix award for the best film of the festival.
