Final week of the Moj-seoski workshops - Gospić, Šibenik, Zadar and Karlovac

The workshop in Gospić started the final week of field workshops on rural tourism, which will continue this week in Šibenik (Wednesday), Zadar (Thursday), and Karlovac (Friday).  

The first of four two-hour educational workshops was held in Gospić on Tuesday, with which the Croatian Rural Tourism Association will complete this year's cycle of 40 workshops on rural tourism held throughout Croatia. The workshops are conducted with the financial support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, while this week's workshops are organized in cooperation with county tourist boards and local action groups. 

The workshop discussed the legislative framework and challenges, new tourism trends, the importance of cultural heritage and the importance of regular digital communication. Participants were also introduced to the Digital Catalog of Rural Tourism, which provides rural tourism service providers with free promotion in domestic and foreign markets through the website hrvatska.hr Croatian National Tourist Board. The catalog includes agricultural holdings that have registered wineries, tasting rooms, farms, picnic areas, agrotourism, rural accommodation facilities and the like. 

The association invites all providers of rural tourism services from these counties, ie farmers who are also engaged in the provision of catering or tourism services to attend the workshops. Representatives of local tourist boards and associations were also invited to the workshops held in accordance with the valid epidemiological measures.
