Back in 1910, the Palace Hotel was built, the oldest hotel in Poreč. It was built by the Austrian Friedrich Klein on an artificially built sea embankment. The hotel later changed its name to Riviera (1953), and after the Homeland War the hotel was bought by a private investor who renovated it and gave it the name “Palazzo”.
