"In 2023, ACI maintained stability in business, but with continuous engagement in further development, primarily business diversification. Growth of total revenues of EUR 3,2 million is the expected result of a slight increase in physical indicators, but also proof that we have successfully responded to the competition and the general market situation with our commercial conditions. ACI marinas Split and Dubrovnik have the largest share in the realized revenues, which achieved a 0,6 million euro increase compared to last year. In the end, the gross profit of 3,8 million euros and the realized EBITDA in the amount of 12,7 million euros are the wind at the back for new strides in the future..", he pointed out Kristijan Pavić, President of the Management Board of ACI dd
The 40th anniversary of successful business and four decades of nautical excellence of the company ACI dd were marked with an increase in operating income to EUR 35,9 million, and an expected growth of 9% compared to the previous year was recorded. At the same time, the net profit of the company was realized in the value of slightly more than 3 million euros. In accordance with the plans and set goals, sales revenues increased by 2,9 million euros and amounted to 34,6 million euros.
In 2023, an increase in sales revenue was achieved in all marinas
All marinas within the ACI system achieved growth in 2023, while individual growth of more than EUR 0,2 million was recorded in six marinas.
The marinas that recorded an increase in sales revenue of more than EUR 0,2 million were Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Cres, Skradin, Trogir and Umag, whose growth accounted for 60% of the total realized sales revenue. During the past year, a total of 2,8 million euros was invested in the system, and the mentioned investments mostly refer to the improvement of the ACI marinas in Palmižana, Rab, Žut, Vodice and Pula.
"The year 2023 will remain recorded as the year in which ACI celebrated its anniversary, but was also intensively engaged in activities aimed at extending the duration of valid concession contracts. The above has been seen for many years as a key risk to further development and, in particular, to further investments. This is precisely why the Company is continuously looking for its strategic opportunities beyond the boundaries of existing concessions, while working to extend them. Considering the coordination of staff costs, which the Company sees as a long-term investment in personnel, and the realized business results are expected and we see them as a good foundation for further development", reflected on the annual results Ph.D. Ivan Herak, member of the ACI dd Management Board for finance, corporate law and human resources.
