The 11th edition of the international tourism fair PLACE2GO, which took place from January 18 to 20, 2024 in Arena Zagreb, has ended.
This year's edition of the fair was held in the winter and placed greater emphasis on the business community and networking of companies that directly or indirectly deal with tourism activities.
The fair was attended by more than 200 exhibitors from 14 countries of the world, and visitors enjoyed traditional costumes, dance, tastes and smells of colorful stalls.
This year, exhibitors from China, Sri Lanka, Spain and Lithuania presented themselves at the fair for the first time.
At the 11th edition of the PLACE2GO international tourism fair, exhibitors from Tunisia and India again arrived, and exhibitors from numerous European countries, domestic exhibitors and national parks, as well as neighboring countries: Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina presented themselves.
Exhibitors presented destinations through traditional costumes, dance and characteristic food, such as dates from Tunisia or baklava from the Bosnian Krajina.
Business visitors on the first two days of the fair had the opportunity to listen panels with topics: how to attract increasingly demanding guests, what the Croatian tourist card looks like, employment in tourism, apartment building, green oases of untouched nature, which are five friendly destinations, sports and travel, and affordable tourism.
All visitors could take part in exciting travelogues lectures, which were available on Friday afternoon and throughout Saturday.
His experiences were shared by Aleksandar Stanković, a great lover of motorcycle trips and television presenter, who traveled an incredible 3000 kilometers on a motorcycle and enjoyed mountain adventures.
Ribafish and Kasandra gave first-hand answers to the questions of what to eat, drink and see in the pearl of the Indian Ocean, exotic Sri Lanka. Always smiling and ready to travel, the popular Traveloholics captivated visitors with stories about Montenegro.
They were joined at the lecture by Adriana and Vedran, better known as Kruz, and they clarified how attractive Montenegro is for travelers - whether they are adventurers or hedonists.
