Event and cooking show in Hiža Zagorski štruklji

Zagorje štruklji are made from smooth wheat flour, water, salt, eggs, cheese and cream and oil (or butter or lard) in the traditional way.

If you want to see in practice how this delicacy is made, confirm your arrival to the organizers by Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

Anyone interested can participate in the event and cooking show in Radoboj, u Hiži štruklji from Zagorje (Radoboj 28), on Friday May 10 from 11 a.m. to 15 p.m. The event is organized by the Municipality of Radoboj and the Culinary Institute Kul IN from Sisak.

As part of the cooking show, Kul IN chefs and lecturers will demonstrate how to prepare traditional Zagorje dishes in a modern way, using local and autochthonous ingredients.

The demonstration of food preparation will be accompanied by tasting so that everyone can enjoy the reinterpretation of Zagorje turkey or plum pie.

This event represents a unique opportunity to learn about trends in gastronomy, it will bring together representatives from catering, tourism and HORECA, and it is open to all lovers of gastronomy and people from the profession, say the organizers.

Culinary Institute Kul IN is the first international private culinary school in Croatia.

Cool IN was founded in 2011, and has become an international gastronomic center where the focus is on education, as well as the creation, research and promotion of modern concepts of food preparation and processing. 

Educational programs are aimed at training future chefs, pastry chefs and hospitality leaders.

Over the years he realized international cooperation with schools, hotels and restaurants from all over Europe, and today, he conveys his philosophy of cooking with a vision to the world. The greatest success is precisely the Kul IN alumni who come from more than 50 countries around the world.
