We are particularly pleased with the excellent results achieved with us in the closest and most important European markets, but also in distant ones such as the USA, where in September we recorded high increases of 33 percent in arrivals and 25 percent in overnight stays, which is an excellent result. We have entered October, in many markets we still have active campaigns and promotional activities for the post-season, so until the end of the year we expect to maintain positive tourist trends", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board.

The Government of the Republic of Croatia will continue to support development in the direction of year-round and more regionally balanced tourism, and we have secured 1,3 billion euros for the new investment cycle, which will enable an additional step forward in the quality of the offer. With the new Act on Tourism, we give cities and counties additional tools for destination management, in order to make our tourism competitive and sustainable in the future, and I believe that all these activities will ensure that Croatia remains one of the most desirable destinations, not only during the summer months, but throughout the year", she pointed out Nikolina Brnjac, Minister of Tourism and Sports.
