Croatian tourist offer presented in "Croatian House" in Krakow

Krakow and region Malopolska are the hosts of this year's edition European Games, which are held for the first time in Poland from June 21 to July 2 this year. Considering the importance of the Polish market, which is among the top five markets from which Croatian tourism achieves the largest number of arrivals and overnight stays, Croatian tourist agency she recognized European Games as an excellent opportunity for additional promotion of Croatian destinations and the overall tourist offer among Polish travel enthusiasts, but also the most important partners and representatives of the most important Polish media.

News from the Croatian tourist offer were presented at today's special promotional event "Croatia – closer than ever" in rooms Croatian houses of HOO, and participated in the organization of the entire event Representation of HTZ in Poland te Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb where the Croatian metropolis is specially presented, which also records better trends and results on the Polish market.

"We can say that two Croatian national teams are currently participating in the European Games in Poland, one for sports and one for tourism. The first will provide emotions, and the second will inspire travel, so we recognized this sports festival as an excellent opportunity to bring Croatian attractions and values ​​closer to the numerous Polish travel lovers. The fact that Poles love Croatian destinations is also confirmed by the indicators of tourist traffic, according to which in the current part of the year we have achieved double-digit increases in arrivals and overnight stays from the Polish market, both compared to last year and compared to 2019.", she stated Lucijana Jerković, head of the Global PR Department of HTZ.

Among the numerous guests were representatives of the most important strategic partners, i.e. agencies, tour operators, airlines and professional associations, among which, for example, representatives of the Polish airline LOT, the tourist chamber of the city of Krakow, the Airport in Krakow and others.

"Inhabitants of Krakow and the Lesser Poland region have been traditionally choosing Croatia for vacation for years. Our presentation showed new motives for coming, and thanks to the excellent cooperation with the Croatian Olympic Committee, we managed to bring not only the beauty and quality of Croatian tourism, but also the flavors of the Mediterranean and continental Croatia. During the duration of the European Games, an info desk will be open in the Croatian House where you can get information about the sights and attractions of Croatia.", she commented Małgorzata Kowalska, Director of the CNTB Representation in Poland.
