Croatia Airlines, Croatian Tourist Board, Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, Split Tourist Board and Zagreb Tourist Board the organizers are special business workshops and presentations of the overall offer of Croatian tourism, which was successfully held in London.
As part of the program, which was attended by over 40 travel agents, tour operators, as well as representatives of the British media, the national airline Croatia Airlines presented the upcoming winter flight schedule, which covers the period from October 29, 2023 to March 31, 2024.
In accordance with the winter flight schedule, it is expected increasing the number of international lines and flights between Croatia and Great Britain compared to last year's winter flight period, and one of the key innovations is extension of the seasonal line London Heathrow - Split on which Croatia Airlines aircraft continue to fly once a week, i.e. on Saturdays, in the winter schedule.
At the same time, flights continue on the year-round route London Heathrow - Zagreb where until mid-January 2024, passengers will have three flights a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and after January 13, 2024 four flights a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
"Great Britain is an important tourist emitting market for our country and I am very pleased to present the plans of Croatia Airlines for the upcoming winter flight schedule 2023/2024, with special emphasis on our flights from London to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, and Split, the seat of Dalmatia. Croatia Airlines extends the season line London Heathrow - Split during the winter, where aircraft will fly once a week. At the same time, we will continue with direct flights on the year-round route London Heathrow - Zagreb three times a week until mid-January 2024, and then up to four times a week.", said Slaven Žabo, director of commercial affairs of Croatia Airlines, and pointed out that the UK market is crucial for the development of Croatian tourism.
