The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Association of European Airports (ACI EUROPE) welcomed the adoption of the Long Term Aspirational Target (LTAG) to achieve net zero CO2 emissions by 2050 at the 41st Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). This important step forward by the countries is aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement and the resolution on net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
