The Voice of Entrepreneurs believes the time has come to lift unnecessary measures, such as limiting working hours until midnight and limiting the number of people in public places.

"The Voice of Entrepreneurs Association hereby demands that the measures currently in force be suspended because they have not yielded effective results. We believe that the time has come to restart life and for people to continue working as before the pandemic, given that no there are no adequate economic measures to help now, and many industries and sectors are still affected by current measures, such as catering, especially nightclubs and bars, the event industry and travel agencies, which find it difficult to operate in such conditions.

We also want to mention that the vaccine has been available for a year, many citizens have been vaccinated or overcame the crown, and that the Civil Protection Headquarters mentioned that things will finally return to normal, and we have not experienced that yet. The Voice of Entrepreneurs Association notes that there is no reason to limit working hours or any other restrictions, so we urge that the measures be lifted immediately. UGP wants to warn again about the work of the Civil Protection Headquarters, which, without valid arguments, is still holding the decision to limit working hours until midnight. The measures of the Headquarters proved to be neither effective nor efficient and it is necessary to consider their abolition.

Many people are eager to work, but they are still prevented from doing so because certain measures are still in force, and in order for the Croatian economy to survive and continue to develop, entrepreneurs who are most at risk due to restrictions on work must be released. Many countries in Europe have opted for this approach and mitigated most epidemiological measures, and the UGP believes that Croatia should emulate them. The Voice of Entrepreneurs Association notes that there are no satisfactory reasons to wait and that it is necessary to finally shift the focus to reforms in our society and focus on issues that are of economic importance. "

"It is time to lift work restrictions, to allow work and life. The topics must become reforms of our society, not fire measures. We demand an end to the measures and the beginning of reforms. Immediately.", said Hrvoje Bujas, president of the Voice of Entrepreneurs association.
