In the next four months, passengers on Croatia Airlines flights will be able to experience the characteristic features of Dalmatian cuisine through specially designed meals, which will be served under a specific name for a meal in this part of Croatia, which is the Dalmatian brunch.
It is a project in which the Croatian Tourist Board, the Tourist Board of the Split-Dalmatia County and the City of Split, and Croatia Airlines are partners. The "Dalmatian brunch" regional gastronomy project is being developed in cooperation with restaurateurs from the entire Split-Dalmatia County. From the beginning of April to the beginning of August, the Dalmatian brunch will be a new gastronomic and tourist offer that will be distributed to passengers on all Croatia Airlines flights for the first time this year.
"This continues the promotion of Croatian gastronomy on our planes and I am convinced that this new gastronomic journey will contribute to an even stronger presentation of the gastronomic region of Dalmatia abroad and within Croatia, which is at the same time an additional promotion of the gastronomic values of our homeland and a contribution to the branding of the Croatian tourist product as a whole. Croatia Airlines remains persistent in its intention to stand out among other airlines with a different service and distinctive approach, and to encourage passengers to meet new people in our planes.", said Slaven Žabo, director of commercial affairs of Croatia Airlines.
"We want passengers on Croatia Airlines to have an experience of Dalmatia. The flavors of central Dalmatia are the fruit of our tradition, companionship, passion and a special kind of hedonism. You can smell them just like that even when you are high among the clouds." says the director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, Ivana Vladović.
