One of the most widely read and influential French magazines specializing in travel and tourism topics Earths Wild, which is followed monthly by one million readers, its May issue magazine dedicated to Croatia as a tourist destination, devoting even 100 pages to it, while the cover of this issue is decorated with a beautiful photo of the Plitvice Lakes.

In addition to the Plitvice Lakes, the magazine also presents the national parks of Northern Velebit, Krka and Kornati, the Papuk Nature Park, as well as the peculiarities of Istria and much more. "Croatia is not only beautiful beaches and old stone... Croatia is a country where nature, to our delight, has a thousand and one faces.", the editor-in-chief of the magazine pointed out in the editorial Oliver Thevent.

That the presence of Croatian tourist attractions in the established media helps in quality promotion of the country, he emphasized Christian Stanicic, director of the Croatian Tourist Board.

"France is one of our most important broadcasting markets with great potential for further growth and development. I am convinced that, according to the positive trends and analyzes so far, we will achieve very good results from the French market in this tourist year and maintain the position of one of their favorite destinations among the French on the Mediterranean", concluded the director Stanicic.

In addition to the excellent cooperation with the French media, CNTB office in France organized a special B2B event, ie seventh edition "Dîners du Tourisme". Journalists from Le Figaro and Le Monde, two of the most important French media, have also recently returned from Croatia, so even in that context we expect very valuable publications about Croatian destinations, their offer and Croatia's attractiveness among French travel enthusiasts.", she concluded Danijela Mihalic Djurica, director of the HTZ Representative Office in France.

The popularity of Croatia in the French market is confirmed by the figures from the system eVisitor according to which the French have achieved more than 42.000 arrivals and more than 111 thousand overnight stays which, compared to last year's results, represents a growth in arrivals of 21% and u overnight stays from 8%.
