Croatian tourist agency i Representation of the Croatian National Tourist Board in the Czech Republic, which covers and Slovakia, in the center Bratislava organized the presentation of the Croatian tourist offer for the most influential Slovak media and a meeting with the most important partners, tour operators and agencies from this very important market for Croatian tourism. The event was attended, among others, by the director of the CNTB Kristjan Staničić, director of the representative office Dubravko Miholić, as well as the executive director of the Association of Unique Croatian Hotels STORIES Antonija Urlić.
During the press conference, which was attended 27 Slovak journalists and representatives of the most popular media, director Stanicic presented the overall tourism results of Croatia with reference to the results achieved in the Slovak market, while special emphasis was placed on future trends and the position that Croatia wants to occupy in the Slovak market.
"Slovakia is one of our top 10 emitting markets with the highest tourist traffic, and as the main summer part of the season is ahead of us, we wanted to position Croatia as one of the most sought after and most successful tourist destinations in the Mediterranean. and talks with the most important partners about expanding the existing cooperation in order to achieve the best possible results this year as well. in our overall results ", he said director Stanicic, adding that long-term goals in this market include the growth of tourist arrivals during shorter weekend trips and in the pre- and post-season periods, but also attracting more guests of different age groups with special emphasis on young people.
