HTZ is looking for a director of the Representative Office in London

Croatian tourist agency she announced Competition for the selection and appointment of the director of the HTZ representative office in Great Britain based in London, which was published on official website of HTZ and through which a person is being sought who will manage the office in London in the next four years, that is, work on the promotion and positioning of the entire Croatian tourist offer on the British market.

"Our representative offices play an important role in the implementation of promotional, marketing and PR activities, and they are also important for the establishment of new business collaborations with the most important tourist entities. Namely, the proactive promotion and positioning of Croatia as a top tourist destination is our joint task, and we see their additional role for creating and maintaining contacts with key foreign partners and business entities that contribute to the achievement of the strategic and business goals of Croatian tourism. This is precisely why I invite all ambitious and competent candidates to contribute with their knowledge, experience and skills to the successful presentation of Croatia at, for Croatian tourism, the extremely important British the market", he points out Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, adding that the position of director of the HTZ Representative Office in London is vacant after the sudden departure of the newly elected director.

Some of the conditions for applying to the competition include completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies or specialist graduate professional studies, at least four years of work experience in managerial positions in tourism or marketing in tourism, or at least six years of work experience in managerial positions jobs, knowledge of one and another foreign language or the language of the tourist market for which the representative office is responsible, and knowledge of the tourist market. When applying, the candidate must also submit a proposal for the office's four-year activity plan.

The final decision on the selection and appointment of the director of the representative office will be made by the Tourist Council of HTZ.
