CNTB launches campaign to encourage early booking in Germany

The Croatian National Tourist Board has started implementing promotional activities in the most important emitting market for Croatian tourism, Germany

Croatian Tourism community started with the implementation of promotional activities in the most important emitting market for Croatian tourism, Germany. It's about "early booking " campaign that will be active until the end of March on the strongest booking platforms in the German market, such as Expedia.de, Urlaubspiraten.de, Weg.de and Resereporter.de.

"In some markets, the trend of early travel booking is again evident, for example in our most important emitting market Germany, where we decided to conduct this campaign. Our goal is to position our country as one of the top foreign destinations of Germans and we are sure many will book your trips this year much earlier than in the last two years, when the so-called last minute demand was very pronounced due to the coronavirus pandemic. ", he said Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić, adding that the campaign plans to generate nearly 10 million impressions.     

As part of the campaign, the emphasis will be on those tourism products for which the German market is most interested, and these are sun and sea, nautical, active tourism and culture. An additional feature of this campaign is that the promotion of Croatia takes place along the way landing page which are exclusively dedicated to our country and which are located on platforms where users can immediately book accommodation, which has a positive impact on the growth of reservations during the preseason.  

Let's add that it was in Croatia last year, according to the system eVisitor, 21,2 million overnight stays were realized from the German market, which equals the result from the record 2019.
