Croatian tourist agency has launched promotional activities on broadcast markets, through renowned media channels, with the aim of positioning Croatia as a high-quality, safe and attractive tourist destination.

That's how it is as part of cooperation CNTB i Holiday Pirates group, one of the fastest growing travel search engines and applications, is currently campaigning in the markets Great Britain, Germany i Italy, while the cooperation of HTZ with Wanderlust, one of the world's largest travel media, aimed at UK market.

"With the aim of maintaining positive trends and continuing to effectively position Croatia as a desirable Mediterranean destination, we are working intensively on promoting our country on a global level. Currently, around 100.000 guests are staying in our country, and most of them are in Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Split, Zadar and Poreč. Throughout 2024, we want to maintain the growth of tourist traffic in the pre- and post-season, which fits into the strategic plans for the sustainable development of Croatian tourism, and our goal is to achieve year-round business in tourism.", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, adding that Croatia currently has the most domestic, German, Austrian and Slovenian guests.

Holiday Pirates Group enables its users to find the best tourist offers for vacations. It is present in ten different markets, and records approximately 12,5 million website visits each month. A special interest of the search engine is the fact that almost 30 percent of its users are in the age group of 25 to 34 years.

Within HTZ's cooperation with that group, which will last until mid-June, it is planned to create inspirational content with a focus on the strongest attributes of the domestic tourist offer, and there is also the promotion of the best pre- and post-season holiday offers in Croatia. Marketing activities have already been launched in the German and British markets, while in Italy they will start at the beginning of May.

Furthermore, cooperation will certainly contribute to the strengthening of added value in the promotion of Croatian tourism CNTB with distinguished British Wanderlust which attracts more than 11 million online visitors annually.

It has a special influence in Great Britain, where, with 252.000 readers per issue, it is the most read travel magazine on the market. The special feature of this media is, among other things, the annual award of readers who declared Croatia the most desirable European destination in 2024.

HTZ's cooperation with this prestigious media includes special content dedicated to Croatia in the April/May print edition and the creation of an online hub. Marketing activities will last until mid-September.
