One of the icons of our tourism or in the true sense homo turisticus with more than 20 years of experience in tourism, Robert Sedlar is a new guest of the podcast Homo Turisticus by HrTurizam.hr

For a start, as we recently wrote, Sedlar left the tourism sector, and moved into a new industry. Namely, after more than two decades of active work in tourism, Robert Sedlar has joined the Interseroh team, and will actively promote the circular economy and equipment and services for, environmentally friendly, waste management.

The tourism sector lost a lot, very much with the departure of Robert Sedlar from the tourism sector. But, as Sedlar himself says: “You can check out any time, but you can never leave!"

He would also draw a parallel with the statement that accompanies all animators in tourism: "Once an animator, always an animator"
Well, in that spirit, although I wish him a lot of success in his new job, I still hope that this icon of our tourism will return to tourism at some point.

But before that, I had the honor of thinking out loud about our tourism with Sedlar in the new Homo Turisticus podcast.

As Sedlar pointed out in the podcast, we know how to produce something perfectly, but we don't know how to sell it. We need to be more sales oriented, Sedlar emphasizes. If we look through the prism of tourism, we have a great product given to us through a natural resource, and if we know how to package that resource and story nicely, add added value and sell, find out in the new tourism loud thinking.
