It was held today 26st session of the Tourist Board of the Croatian National Tourist Board, at which the council members, among other things, adopted The decision on the selection of projects of regional tourist boards in the touristic underdeveloped area and continent in 2023, and the decisions on the selection of projects of the associated tourist boards te selection projects of local tourist boards in tourism-insufficiently developed areas and on the continent. The session was chaired by the Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac in the presence of the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić.
This is the case as part of the selection of projects of regional tourist boards in tourism-underdeveloped areas and the continent as a whole almost 2,9 million euros were approved for 59 projects. The same amount was approved for 275 projects of local tourist boards in tourism-underdeveloped areas and on the continent, while as part of the selection of projects of the associated tourist boards, over 2,5 million euros for the total 140 projects.
"Continuous development of the overall Croatian tourist offer with a special emphasis on the areas of joint tourist boards, i.e. tourist boards in underdeveloped areas and on the continent, is our strategic and long-term goal. This is the only way we can systematically work on further strengthening the perception of Croatia as a sustainable, year-round and high-quality tourist destination rich and varied offers, i.e. on creating an offer that will increasingly attract guests to our country during the period before and after the season. united tourist boards", concluded the director Stanicic.
