18th Congress of Croatian camping in Terme Tuhelj - perspective, technological innovations and sustainable development

The Camping Association of Croatia (KUH) announces the 18th Croatian Camping Congress, which will be held from November 11 to 13, 2024 at the Well Hotel in Terme Tuhelj. The congress will traditionally gather leading experts, representatives of the camping industry and partners from Croatia and Europe, who will present the results of the tourist season behind us and the leading topics in this sector - how to prepare for the coming period, adapt to new technological trends and ensure the development of sustainable tourism.

This year's Congress is focused on technological innovations and advantages that the use of artificial intelligence can bring to this sector, as well as additional investment in the offer in order to ensure the highest quality camping services, and development directions and strategies in the future will be defined through a discussion on adaptation to climate change, spatial and destination planning, geopolitical security and workforce issues.

"The Croatian Camping Congress is an opportunity for the exchange of experiences of leading people from the sector, especially in the light of this year's macroeconomic and geopolitical turmoil, as well as ubiquitous technological innovations and sustainable development that also affect trends in tourism as a whole. The excellent figures we achieve in the camping sector are the result continuous investment, which our guests also recognized, and we also note a growing interest in camping in the continental counties, which offer guests a unique experience of nature and rest tourism", he said Adriano Palman, director of the Camping Association of Croatia.

Camping representatives and other participants will be addressed by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Tonči Glavina, and those gathered will have the opportunity to listen to the experiences of leading experts on market expectations in the coming year and how technologies such as artificial intelligence and new media can improve the promotion of campsites and attract new guests to destination.

The best camps will be awarded special awards for the quality of the camps Croatia's Best Campsites and OK mini camps, reward Inova Camp for the most innovative projects in the camping industry and Slovenian recognition for the quality of camps Naj Camp Adria 2024. Visitors can expect a wide range of domestic and foreign manufacturers of glamping tents and mobile homes and accompanying equipment for the camping industry, and there will be no shortage of accompanying events and gatherings.
