It ended with excellent tourist results ninth edition Baska Outdoor Festival, a manifestation that has won over many outdoor adventure lovers for years.
Although the manifestation was deprived of the Sunday program due to unfavorable weather conditions, Saturday was therefore "bursting at the seams" with a rich program and great energy of visitors from various parts of Croatia, but also guests from Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary and, to a lesser extent, part of other countries, who arrived this year in the largest number so far!
Krk 'n' Roll MTB Marathon, Krk 'n' Trail race, Rocky Hill Hike Tour hiking trip, Touch the Sky sport climbing and Zip and Fly adventure on Zipline Edison - were accompanied by ideal weather conditions, valuable prizes and great energy of more than 2.000 participants from as many as 14 countries.
Given the high late-summer temperatures, the vast majority of participants, from the youngest to the oldest, took the opportunity to swim in the still warm sea, and all this together resulted in a great atmosphere in which the sports results remained less important, either it is important to participate because Baška was the center of all events last weekend.
Krk'n'Roll MTB Marathon
Saturday began with the start of the now legendary bicycle race, Krk'n'Roll MTB Marathon, which, in its record seventh edition, was attended by more than 600 competitors from 12 countries, and more than half of them arrived outside Croatia. At the start were several current and former national champions and winners of major world races who did not want to miss the opportunity to experience the best MTB experience, which is another confirmation that Krk 'n' roll is one of the largest and most attractive MTB events in the region. He is responsible for the organization of this cycling spectacle Adria Bike, a well-established team that creates top cycling experiences throughout Croatia.
For this occasion, they have prepared 3 attractive rock'n'roll tracks for everyone's affinities - The Beach Boys (26 kilometers), The Rolling Stones (46 kilometers) and, for the most daring, The Queen (70 kilometers). The combination of a diverse landscape, which leads from a two-kilometer long pebble beach to old pine forests and bare stone resembling the surface of the moon, and a view of the blue sea of Bašća bay guaranteed a unique ride and a great atmosphere.
